At the airport
"We're at the airport, waiting for our flight. It's always strange to leave work and go on a trip -- several days of rush rush rush at the office and at home, getting everything ready, followed by hours of enforced inactivity. I do feel like I did a pretty good job of wrapping up all my work before leaving today -- and there's certainly nothing I can do about it now if I didn't! So far, flying on Thursday night has been terrific -- there was absolutely no line to check in, the airport is uncrowded, and judging from how few people are in the waiting area less than an hour before boarding, I hope the flight will be half-empty!"
